Here is a note from Caterpillar Ministries about the D.Now group that worked there this past weekend... 
"Your team Rocks! This past Saturday was a huge success and an enormous blessing. The teens did an amazing job and worked very hard. Sam impressed me with his willingness to work hard and ask deep questions. Please let them know Caterpillar Ministries is extremely thankful. Thanks for supplying the plants for the garden. They will bless many, many families with Summer vegetables."

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE REMINDER

There will a special service tonight at 6:30 pm in the church sanctuary in celebration of Ash Wednesday. There will be NO regular youth activities. It's still not too late to join a prayer/discussion group for the Churchwide 40-Day Lenten Prayer Challenge. Contact Marcus to join the youth option or Ms. Tina to sign up with another group. Hope to see you soon...with ashes on!

Super Bowl Sunday Schedule - Feb. 7th

Hey Everyone! Here is Sunday, February 7th, Super Bowl Sunday Schedule
10:00 AM - Bible Study (all ages) 
11:15 AM - One English Worship Service & one Spanish Worship Service 
12:30 PM - Souper Bowl Fellowship -- Yes Soup! There will be Chili to pick from as well. No cost for this event! Donations of canned goods or $ are welcome! Proceeds will go to local food pantries/soup kitchens.

Parent & Youth Forum - Wednesday, Jan. 27

ATTENTION: ALL youth & parents! Join us this evening, Wed., Jan. 27 from 6:30-7:30 pm, for the Parent & Youth Forum in the DC Auditorium. The Youth Ministry Support Team along with Marcus will paint a picture of what our student ministry could look like in 2016. LOTS of information to be shared including opportunities to get involved, plug into the leadership & for Q&A. Hope 2 CU there.

Update on Icey Sunday, January 24

HEY EVERYONE! Tomorrow morning, Sunday Jan. 24, we only have 11:15 am service in the DC auditorium for those who can make it to church safely. There will be no early service, S.M.C., Bible study, hand bells or choir practice tomorrow. Don't forget to share with your folks the Parent & Youth Forum next Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 pm in the DC auditorium. Stay warm & enjoy the break.

DESIRING TO MAKE 2016 FAN.TASTIC!

Before small group this past Wednesday our youth guessed what the students in our group were HUGE fans of like music, reality tv shows, musicals, panthers, peanut butter, etc. This brought up what the qualifications would be for others to believe you were such a fan like wearing their t-shirt designs, knowing all their stats or words of all their lyrics, going to all their shows or smelling of it all the time? We then asked the question how this applied spiritually. Are we HUGE fans of God? Does it show? If you are struggling with your answer ...ask God to help you yearn to be a fan (follower) of His in 2016. Who knows, before long maybe your JOY in knowing God will stick out all over you...and there will be no question whether you are God's #1 fan. I know God is yours...for sure!
