CASWELL YOUTH WEEK - Sign-Up Extended to Wednesday!!

Here are some pics from 2010 Caswell Youth Week to get you thinking. If you haven't sign-up up yet for our 2012 trip...what are yah thinking?! Download your registration form from our church's website and turn it and the deposit into the church office. Sign-up deadline has been extended to this Wednesday, March 28 due the amazing D.Now weekend we just had. In all the excitement down miss what's on the horizon!

Respecting Differences: A Citywide Interfaith Student Dialogue About Bullying

At a time when bullying can happen at school, on the internet, and on the phone, it is our duty, as students, to address this issue. Join us for a time of fellowship, fun, and interfaith dialogue with high school students and leaders from all over Charlotte. Sponsored by the Mecklenburg Ministries Youth Leadership Council

Teenagers Making a Difference...NOW!

Hey, checkout this link to know more about some teenagers making a difference in raising awareness and funds to fight child slavery occurring in Ghana. The "Ghana Rock 2012" link on their home page will let you know more about a May 18th concert where you can help make a difference as well. Wow! You mean you don't have to wait till you are out of college to make a difference? COOL!!!

ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

SUNDAYS: Students will have the option of going to an 8:45 am Worship Service (Discipleship Auditorium) which is more contemporary in style or 11:15 am Worship Service (Sanctuary) which is more traditional in style. Immediately following the early service in the auditorium students have their SMC (Sunday Morning Celebration) where they share in music & activities before heading to their Bible Studies at 10:20 am. The Bible study materials come from the online materials "faithelement.net" that go along with the adult study in the Baptists Today News Journal.

WEDNESDAYS: Students have a chance to connect while hanging out in the youth room upstairs in the Discipleship Center from 6:00-6:30pm during the HUDDLE. They then breakout in the SMALL GROUP (middle school boys, middle school girls, middle school boys, high school boys) for a time of deeper connection and accountability.

Students interested in participating in the Youth Worship Band or the Audio/Visual Crew should contact Marcus at the church office (mmims@fbc-h.org) for more information. Most Wednesdays they practice from 7:30-8:30pm in the DC Auditorium.
